The music was arranged by Alois Kaiser, the famed cantor and composer. Among the arrangements are ‘To Freedom’ and ‘God’s Help, ’ with a note that “these are not in the old Hagadah, and have been added to increase the musical numbers and thus enhance the service. The traditional character of the melodies will be easily recognized. ” (page 157-58) . “This Haggadah went through fifteen editions” (Goldman, #158, Hebrew Printing in America) .
