166 pages and 30 plates (complete). In general mild-mannered condition. It is comforting that, in the United States in 1942, as Persia became an even more bitter area of war, space was found to publish this book on a subject so dutifully and deliciously rafinee, as Persian miniatures held by the wonderful Fogg Museum. Schroeder's diligent and detailed catalogue is precise and clearly presented. The board cover is benign and placid. There are shelving marks and some wear to the edges. The front cover is rubbed and marked from handling. There is a stain to the front cover. The covers and the spine are healthy, sure. Inside, the pages have some lightly foxing scattered through the book. Page 35/6 has two closed tears and creasing (from storage?). The contents are comfortable, clear, sure. The pages are firm, competent, attractively creamy, kindly and very detailed. fk. Book Condition: Fair. Binding: Hardcover.
