Very good set, Small 4to, Limited to 1000 numbered sets., "The Poet's works in chronological order from the text of Professor Delius including 'The Two Noble Kinsmen' and 'Edward III', with an introduction by F.J. Furnival, with numerous illustrations from original designs." Complete in 12 volumes. Bound in green cloth with gilt decorated spines and gilt embossed portrait of Shakespeare on the front boards; top edges gilt. Each volume has a color frontispiece and several illustrations printed on heavier stock, all with tissue guards. Illustrators include Frederick Barnard, E´mile Antoine Bayard, Herbert A.
