Pages and covers are very clean and intact. Slight edge and corner wear and rubbing to the covers and spine. A collection of philosophical essays that mostly center upon nature and birds. One essay addresses William Shakespeare; another references John Ruskin. The following are the chapter titles: "Mind, Memory and Migration of Birds," "Beside the Gulf with Ruskin," "Ceryle Alcyon," "In the Matter of Shakespeare," "The Motif of Bird-Song,", "The Genesis of Bird-Song, and "Some Hyoid Hints.".
