Lent a little charm by a copperplate frontispiece depicting a formal garden, swarming with industrious bees, where paths named "Livius," "Varro," "Columella," etc. wind around flowerbeds named "Caesar," "Terentius," etc. Fine lilies and tulips grow here and there. Name crossed out in ink to title; small corner dampstain to first few leaves; otherwise a fine copy in nearly pristine original stiff vellum wrappers.
