Edgar Wallace (1875-1932) was a British author, screenwriter, and reporter. He became well-known for his prolific output and for writing a diverse variety of literary works. He wrote detective novels, adventure novels, science fiction, plays, poetry, short stories, and historical non-fiction. He is credited for writing 957 short stories, over 170 novels, and eighteen plays. Wallace is perhaps best-known for his crime fiction and his screenplay for the famous film, King Kong (1933).. Book.
