An unusual and large contemporary bird’s eye plan of Paris and the surrounding suburbs during the siege which ended the Franco-Prussian War and led to the creation of the German Empire. Manned balloons are shown above the city, but unguided balloon mail was also a feature of the siege. No other works by Wagner or Werner are recorded by Tooley.
