This is an abridged version. Both books Ix and X. are wholly omitted, as they are confined to an account of the first settlement of Virginia and New England and were not origionally published by the author. It has not been materially abridged, but only condensedto four-fifths of the origional work.All edges are gilt. The linen fold at the spine is starting to crack a little.
