This list was compiled in view of the author's “forthcoming work on Anglo-Jewish Family History” - p.1. Includes laid in two page advertisment, promoting subscriptions to Lucien Wolf's forthcoming “Old Jewish Families in England” in two volumes (this work never appeared) . Compiled by Lucien Wolf (1857-1930) a diplomat, foreign affairs expert, prominent journalist, and an important Anglo-Jewish historian. He was one of the organizers of the Anglo-Jewish Historical Exhibition of 1887, at which time he compiled a bibliography of Anglo-Jewish history. This exhibit led to the founding of the Jewish Historical Society of England in 1893, of which Lucien Wolf was the first president. Subjects: Biography. Great Britain. Juden. OCLC lists 8 copies.
