Mia was a sophomore at the Catholic girl's high school, academic year 1981-1982, her portrait is at page 98. In 1984, after high school, she would enroll at Antioch College, Ohio, where, in 1986, she and three friends formed the punk rock band The Gits. The band would relocate to Seattle in 1989, and over the next few years release several singles on local independent record labels, which were well-received. They released their debut album, Frenching the Bully, in 1992. Their reputation in the grunge scene grew, and the band worked on their second and final album, Enter: The Conquering Chicken, which was released in 1993 after Mia's tragic murder in July of that year. They had European and American tours scheduled. Mia was featured on an episode of The Forensic Files. Very scarce.. Book. Book Condition: VG.
