We specialize in books about Africa, with emphasis on Southern Africa. Our stock comprises books published between the 17th & 20th centuries, mainly in English and Afrikaans, with smaller numbers of Dutch, German and French titles.
For our local customers we issue three catalogues yearly; E-mail catalogues can be issued on request and 'Wants Lists' are most welcome. All our stock is accessible on the Web ( see address above ) and keywords associated with your favourite subjects can be used when searching for books. If you would like to view our collection when in Cape Town, please phone to make an appointment. Africana Books is situated only a few minutes from the city centre and parking is no problem.
