Circa1880s. Original photograph print (5 1/8 x 3 3/8 inch) mounted on a board. Image in black and white of the coastal ravine on the south of the Isle of Wight. Famous as a smuggler's route, later an amusement park and finally reverted back to nature. The ravine no longer exists due to continual landslides from unstable geology.
