circa.1860s. Unnumbered stereograph on yellow board (3 1/2 x 7 inch) with publisher's name and address on the backside. Image of the obelisk upon Beeker's Hill with Boston Bay in the far background. Constructed between 1827 and 1843 it is 221 feet tall and made of granite. The foundation stone was laid by the Marquis de Lafayette while on his return visit to the United States. It is now part of the Boston National Park. Fine clean copy.. Book. Book Condition: Collectible-Fine. Binding: No Binding
