Circa 1860s. Original stereocard on tan boards. Board dimensions 7 x 3 1/2 inches, photograph dimensions 5 x 2 1/2 inches. Faint spotting. Title at base of photos. The Niagara Falls Suspension Bridge (1855-1897) was the first working railway suspension bridge. Downstream from the falls, the upper deck accommodated railroads while the lower deck was used by carriages and pedestrians. This view is across the bridge on the upper deck. The Suspension Bridge was dismantled in 1897 after being replaced by the Steel Arch Bridge.. Book. Book Condition: Collectible-Very Good.
