Began as a trio in 1935 known as the 'The Three Wizards of Ozzie' with the Ozzie Nelson Band'. After adding Brewster they performed with the Fred Waring Orchestra becoming the Modernaires in 1937. In 1940 joined the Glenn Miller Band and added Kelly in 1941. Recorded CHATTANOOGA CHOO-CHOO with Miller Band, the first 'gold record' million copies sold ever.. Book.
