Henry Ward Beecher (1813-1887) was an American Congregationalist clergyman, social reformer, and one of the brothers of Harriet Beecher Stowe. He advocated for the abolition of slavery and also supported women's suffrage and the temperance movement. Life Thoughts is a collection of notes taken Beecher's "Sabbath sermons and Wednesday evening lectures, since the date at which they were commenced.". Book. Book Condition: Fine. Binding: Hardcover
