The map is engraved by Rundell of Falmouth and Published Lemon Street Truro, the map has top left hand corner inset map of the Scilly Isles. Map measures 43x37 cm when folded out. Book has 226 pages the parochial section of the book list the various villages and towns with interesting facts of this then remote area of Britain, like the huge skeleton which was dug up which had 2.5 inch teeth. The wet months of Cornwall are Oct,Nov Dec and January and rain falls in great abundance. The summers are generally cool and the fruits bitter from want of Heat. Condition slight bump rub corners little ripple outer board cover tightly bound neat name previous owner dated 1854 . Book also dated 1854 below publisher on title page. Map has one small tear caused by opening but is very clean no foxing Pages very slight age browning but clean .
