Dr. David Day (1825-1896) was born in Virginia. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1849 and moved to Minnesota in the same year. He practiced medicine in St. Paul and late was in the drug business (1849-1866). He served in the State Legislature in 1852 and 1853. He was appointed Postmaster of St. Paul in 1875, a position he held until 1888.. Book. Book Condition: Collectible-Very Good.
