Red cloth boards with very nice detailed illustrations in black and green of men on horses, ships in battle and crosses rifles. Spine had three swords crossing. Front has black lettering and spine has gold and black. Pencilled ownership and address on ffep. All e ndpapers have browned natural along with last text page. Some nice b/w lined illustration s including frontispiece entitled 'Ned Gives the Captains. '. Close to center off book has a somewhat split spi ne. This happens when book is pushed to lay flat.
