Hitler, Adolf : Ich Fuhle Mich So Frisch ....i Feel So Fresh Aerial Propaganda Leaflet

Photographic propaganda leaflet measuring 21.5cm X 13.5.cm. Printed in the UK and disseminated by aircraft between March 1942 and May 1942.('I feel so fresh. Spring is coming') A smiling Adolf Hitler is pictured standing among frozen bodies of dead German soldiers lying in the snow. The ironic quote refers to the fact that, during the invasion and occupation of Poland, Hitler seemed oblivous to the numbers of German casualties, which were higher than expected. German casualty statistics were incorrect due to thousands being attributed as 'missing' rather than dead. US Produced Leaflet for dropping on Germans
