Red,black and white colour dw/dj with an almost immaculate fresh,bright upper wrap with only the slightest hint of sunning/fading to spine/ backstrip - of which this particular dw/dj is notoriously prone to and known for.The rear white panel is very lightly marked with an ageing shadow affecting the top and spine/ backstrip edge,from the proximity of a 12mo book.There are no nicks or tears to any of the dw/dj edges and the merest hint of creasing to both top and bottom of the spine/backstrip.Top+
fore-edges have slight dust-soiling and some light ageing/darkening; contents bright,tight and clean.Publisher's bright,crisp,clean,sharp-cornered,original,plain blue cloth boards with bright,crisp,blocked gilt letters to spine/ backstrip and near immaculate plain white unblemished endpapers.An exceptional copy with an even more exceptional dw/dj.Author died 12 December, 2020.
