Stereograph on tan board (7 x 3 1/2 inch) with title across the bottom and publisher along the sides. tittle is in English and Spanish. Image of the Manufactures and Liberal Arts Building showing the front from an angle. The largest building at the fair was designed by George B. Post and lighted by Nikola Tesla's alternating current system, its first major public exposure of the system. The fair was on 600 acres, encompassing over 200 structures in the 'Beaux Arts' style. Jackson Park in Chicago was the site of the fair, but unfortunately most of the building burnt down in July 1894. Its over 27 million visitors were exposed to electricity, moving pictures, and 'belly dancing' among many other advances in technology. Fine clean copy.. Book. Book Condition: Collectible-Fine.
