Slight water-stain internally to foot of spine/backstrip's vicinity and noticeably bleeding through to bottom rear edges - but without affecting the boards in the vicinity.Dw/dj's rear inner flap with a vertical oblique crease has left a similar but light impression crease to the preceding blank and rear free endpaper. Top+fore-edges though lightly aged/toned are generally bright and clean - top edges with light dust-soiling and light,sporadic spotting,fore-edges with some very light gubbing marks; contents bright,tight, clean,solid and sound - near pristine - no intentional dog-ear reading creases to pages' corners,appears to be unread - apart from my own collation.Bright,crisp, clean,sharp-cornered,publisher's original plain black faux-leather boards with bright,crisp,stamped silver gilt letters to spine/backstrip; a single impressed vertical silver gilt border approx 1.1/2" in from spine/backstrip's gutter's edge to both bds,a b/w striped headband and immaculate plain pale yellow/cream eps.UK, 8vo HB+dw/dj,omnibus,1st edn thus,14-430pp [paginated] includes 2 complete and unabridged novels ('1984' & 'Animal Farm') with Pts I-III comprising 8,9,6 chapters,an appendix (principles of Newspeak) for '1984',and 10 chapters for 'Animal Farm' respectively,plus [unpaginated] blank,author page,title page,contents list/table,blank,single title (1984's) separator page,blank,title page (Animal Farm's) and 2pp blanks at rear.
