23 pages; paper wrapper (5 3/4 x 8 1/2 inch) stapled. An appeal by Philbrook to prevent the re-election of Justices William H. Beatty, Charles H. Garoutte and Ralph C. Harrison. He was the lawyer for the Levinson family against John Levinson's partners in the mercantile firm Newman & Levinson which upon John's death attempted to strip the widow of her share in the company. It seems the judges were showing their bias in the case before going to court. According to the pamphlet the judges and lawyers were in conspiracy with the Southern Pacific Company. This is part of a series of appeals to the public to strike down the judges involved. Clean copy.. Book. Book Condition: Collectible-Fine.
