The boards are rubbed, marked and edge worn, but remain strong and whole. The dust jacket has some evidence of damp damage; it is warped and creased. it is also edge worn and marked. Despite this, the dust jacket remains whole, bright and legible. Internally, there is a previous retailer's bookplate on the front pastedown, and the front and back end pages are rather foxed and marked.
