Eight pages, string tied, with handwriting notations on five pages, thusly three pages are blank, small hole to rear cover, affecting a couple of words. It talks about going to school on Saturdays and boarding with different people and it is a record of how many loads of wood he cut for different people for credit. Names mentioned include Isabel Haskins, John Bond, Sam'l Harris, John Patterson and Elijah Smith. This is a very interesting little diary of events in early New York State that features some lovely calligraphic penmanship.. Manuscript.
