The unidentified young woman who authored this diary details in a charming fashion her trip through the 1000 Islands of Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River. She mentions both "The American Islands" and "The Canadian Islands", boating, yachting, sailing over to the "oldest city of Canada, Gananoque," visits to other Canadian cities, Bluff Island, Wells Island, lots of fishing, Island Royal, Alexandria Bay, Victoria Bridge +++.
