UNIDENTIFIED : 1934 ORIGINAL SCRAPBOOK OF THE HISTORICAL NEW YORK TO WARSAW POLAND TRANS ATLANTIC MONO PLANE FLIGHT

4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. On offer is an original, unique grouping of documents and handwritten narrative in scrapbook format regarding an historical trans-Atlantic mono-plane flight from New York to Warsaw, Poland on June 27, 1934 by brothers Benjamin and Joseph Adamowicz. The scrapbook includes newspaper clippings, photos of the pilots and the American Ambassador to Poland, John Cudahy and the mono-plane 'Warsaw' (N R 797-W). Also clippings of from Polish newspapers and a typed report in Polish plus an invitation to Ambassador Cudahy's Black-Tie Reception for the Pilots. The back of the invitation was autographed by the two pilots and the Ambassador. The invitation comes with original envelope. One of the Polish newspaper clippings is dated December 20, 1935, another is dated December 20, 1962. The typed Report in Polish has a handwritten date of 1974.. Manuscript. Book Condition: Good
