On offer is a superb circa 1730 handwritten manuscript military orders titled "Unterrichtsplan der General-inspection des Jägercorps un der ersten Escadron Cavallerie" outlining the program of a planned visitation of a un-named German prince to the cavalry military unit. A complete set of maneuvers had been scheduled for the celebration and this manuscript describes in detail the program for the Prince. The program contains for example: maneuver of the cavalry and Jäger-corps, defense and counter-tactics, several attack tactics, different strategic actions, how to combat the enemy, light and heavy cavalry tactics. This document is superbly placed in the pre ascension time period of Frederick II of Prussia. This unbound, fully handwritten folio has 23 pages, small repair marks, some darkening, minor chipping on edges, water staining and foxing. G.. Manuscript.
