"Stereoscopic Treasures, No. 375". Original Stereograph on tan board (3 1/2 x 7 inch) with title on the backside. A portrait image of Fontunella. Frank G. Weller (1833-1877) was an early New Hampshire stereoview photographer beginning in 1861. Among his stereoviews was the 'Stereoscopic Treasures' series - photos showing family life and circumstances. Sometimes he used relatives as models, as in this case the model is his daughter Fontanella A. Weller (1870-1892). Fontanella Weller married Henry Fitch in 1890 and eventually lived in Spokane, Washington. She died in 1892, a few months after giving birth to a child who died in infancy.
