Slightly grubbed/ marked orange cloth boards; with negligible shelf-wear to edges and generally sharp-cornered corners - no major nicks or tears present.Top two corners with miniscule rubbing and fraying, head of spine/backstrip some minimal fraying and reciprocal loss and slight darkening to length of same.Bright,crisp,non-oxidised,black ink blocked lettering to boards and spine/backstrip, book lightly cocked.Top+fore-edges both heavily aged/toned and sporadically foxed/spotted; contents generally tight - front hinge cracked but could stand sympathetic restoration/repair, solid and sound but with page-edge foxing and some foxing to prelims and to the publisher's adverts at rear too,some off-set foxing to free endpapers and both pastedowns.No dog-ear reading creases to any pages' corners,possibly unread - apart from my own collation.UK,8vo HB,minus dw/dj,2nd print edn,10-312pp [paginated] includes IX (9) chapters/short stories; plus [unpaginated] half-title+title pages,contents list/ table,title separator page and 8pp publisher's advert catalogue to the rear.
